It seems to be our Creator's way
To bring about each close of day
One more painting of the western sky.
His imagination, unlimited by time or space
Is one more example of His amazing grace.
His brush-strokes imply, good night, not goodbye

Dawn in the east, announced with golden light
Removes the gloom of ebon clouds at night,
And brings into focus another day made new
The gift of the Sun's golden rays at noon.
The tides rise and fall, teased by the Moon.
The heavens enshrined in a star-filled view.

The result of spring rain, and winter's snow
Refreshes hill 'n plain, and causes idle streams to flow.
A rainbow's arc, 'crost a dark cloud's face
The flash of bright lightning, followed by thundering.
Nature's artwork, to remove doubt and wondering
Again, perfect pictures of God's ever-present grace.

Look to the ant, Scripture urges with good reason
Doing good in all you do, and in its proper season.
Use a' wise, your gift, in any and all weather.
Take notice of nature, on Earth and in the skies
To receive God's promise, His grandest prize
A home with Him in glory, forever and forever.
