Strong Intangibles by Roy Harris

2 Corinthians 4:18; 1 Corinthians 1:25-28
Who holds ideas in his hands?
Who weighs the worth of right and wrong
On human scales, or understands
The tides that take our lives along? Isaiah 55: 8, 9
Who measures with a meter rod
The length of love, or faith's dimensions?
Who sees the Spirit that is God
With eyes of flesh and good intentions? John 4: 24
Can anyone define the space
That simple virtue occupies
To benefit the human race,
Amount of good that it supplies? I Corinthians 15:58
Can good and evil be dissected,
Determined in a laboratory?
And thus show what can be expected,
The outcome of life's story? Psalm 25: 8, 9
Faith tells of entities that be,
Though unseen by material sight.
We sense and feel, from what we see,
Their presence, worth and might. Hebrew 11
These are intangibles that dwell
Beyond our sense of sight and sound
Yes, faith, hope, love now serve us well
When they abundantly abound. 2 Corinthians 5:7
